TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use Arcane Cipher. By using the Game, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

2. LICENSE TO USE

Daethorius Studios grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Arcane Cipher for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the Game or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game
• Use the Game for commercial purposes without written permission
• Exploit bugs or glitches to gain unfair advantages
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Game
• Attempt to access or tamper with other users' accounts

3. ACCOUNTS

You may play as a guest or create an account. If you create an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must not share your account with others
• You must provide accurate information when registering
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. IN-APP PURCHASES

Arcane Cipher offers optional in-app purchases including virtual currency (Sparks), cosmetic items, and convenience features. Please note:

• All purchases are processed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's refund policies
• Virtual currency and items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for real money
• We reserve the right to modify, adjust, or remove purchasable content at any time
• Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Google Play policy

5. SOUL PASS SUBSCRIPTION

Arcane Cipher offers an optional auto-renewing subscription called Soul Pass at $3.99/month. By subscribing you agree to the following:

• Soul Pass provides daily bonus Sparks, daily Hints, double XP, and a daily Heart Shield for the duration of your active subscription
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Your subscription automatically renews each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You may cancel at any time through Google Play account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are issued for partial subscription periods
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice

6. VIRTUAL CURRENCY AND ITEMS

Sparks and other in-game items are virtual goods licensed to you, not sold. They have no real-world value. We may modify, suspend, or eliminate virtual goods at any time with or without notice. You have no property rights in virtual goods.

7. ADVERTISEMENTS

Arcane Cipher is supported by advertising through Google AdMob. By using the Game, you consent to the display of advertisements. Rewarded ads are optional and provide in-game benefits in exchange for viewing. You may not use ad blockers or other means to circumvent advertising in the Game.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content in Arcane Cipher — including but not limited to game mechanics, artwork, audio, code, characters, and UI design — is the intellectual property of Daethorius Studios or its licensors.

Arcane Cipher includes quotes from anime series for entertainment and educational purposes. These quotes remain the property of their respective copyright holders. Arcane Cipher is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any anime studio or publisher.

9. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to use Arcane Cipher to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
• Interfere with the normal operation of the Game
• Engage in cheating, hacking, or exploiting

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Arcane Cipher is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daethorius Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Game, including loss of data, virtual items, or game progress. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Arcane Cipher at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Game ends immediately.

13. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
