• Game progress, scores, and settings you save

Information collected automatically:

• Device type and operating system version
• Gameplay data (levels completed, scores, session duration)
• Advertising identifiers (for serving relevant ads via Google AdMob)
• IP address and general location (country/region level only)

Information we do NOT collect:

• Your precise GPS location
• Contacts, photos, or files on your device
• Microphone or camera data
• Payment card numbers (purchases handled by Google Play)

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the Game and its features
• Save your game progress and account data
• Display advertisements through Google AdMob
• Process in-app purchases through Google Play Billing
• Analyze gameplay to improve the Game
• Detect and fix bugs and crashes
• Comply with legal obligations

3. ADVERTISING

Arcane Cipher uses Google AdMob to serve advertisements, including rewarded ads that grant in-game benefits. AdMob may use your advertising identifier and other data to show personalized ads.

• You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings (Google Settings → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization)
• Opting out does not remove ads — it makes them non-personalized

4. IN-APP PURCHASES & SUBSCRIPTIONS

Arcane Cipher offers optional in-app purchases (Sparks, No Ads, Soul Pass, etc.) processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment information. All transactions are governed by Google Play's Terms of Service.

Soul Pass Subscription: Arcane Cipher offers a recurring auto-renewing subscription ($3.99/month) called Soul Pass, which provides daily bonus Sparks, daily Hints, double XP, and a daily Heart Shield. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

5. DATA STORAGE

Your game data is currently stored locally on your device. When you create an account, data is associated with your account credentials stored on your device. We do not operate external servers that store your personal game data at this time.

Future versions of the Game may include cloud save functionality, at which point this policy will be updated.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Arcane Cipher is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below and we will delete it promptly.

If you are between 13 and 18, please review this policy with a parent or guardian.

7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Game integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob — Advertising: policies.google.com/privacy
• Google Play — App distribution and billing: policies.google.com/privacy
• Google Fonts — Typography (no personal data collected)

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

9. DATA RETENTION

We retain your game data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Game. If you delete the app or request account deletion, your locally stored data is removed from your device. Any associated account data will be deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.

10. SECURITY

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
